A Writer's World

Well, I've written quite a lot of stuff describing, explaining, and portraying a writer's world. A reader can enjoy these nice reads and get a nice glimpse on the writer's world, and the writers can gain some good insights on writing. Some of these write-ups were penned by me way before I started this blog, and were graciously adopted by a renowned publishing firm, White Falcon Publishing, and are owned by them now (The blogs do bear my name, as I continue to write for them!). Sit back, relax, and enjoy the reads on the links below: Hope you like them, and if you do, ensure to let me know! For a writer, there's nothing greater than a reader's praise! 1.  Writer? 2.  Challenges Faced by a First Time Writer 3.  Writer's Space Time Continuum 4.  Writing Style  - Readers, I have a little story at the beginning of this blog even for you to ponder! 5.  Latest Books on Time Travel 6.  What Should I Read? 7. A Farm Visit

As the sun rose in Northern India on Sunday (18-2-18), some kids in the city beautiful woke up with the excitement of having a wonderful new experience that day. Equally enthusiastic parents were up by the first light and prepared for a memorable day ahead. Down south, in one house, was a kid who couldn’t get a sound sleep through the night owing to the flu. A similar situation of un-wellness prevailed in another house. But they were unstoppable, the kids; these little hiccups were no obstacles for them. Up north, in a beautiful countryside farm, another house had risen early in preparation for hosting a day full of fun, nature, games, and talks. The kids of the house were eager to welcome their unknown mates for the day. As the parents planned the day for the guests, the workers hustled around going about the chores of the farm and preparing eateries for the visitors. Equally excited seemed the pets of the house who weren’t sure what was up that day but the ambient positive ...

On the wings of time

Times are not tough, our thinking is... Time just keeps moving simply in a straight line. In fact, it's a great healer! Had we been stuck in the same awful moment that we once experienced, always, how pathetic it would have been? But no. That doesn’t happen because time moves ahead, embraces us, and takes us along! Many times things happen that are just out of our limited reasoning. Bad things happen, meanwhile, when you may be busy trying to drown yourself in them - miracles happen too! Whatever happened or was lost is gone now. Wasting a single moment on a lost ruthless memory/moment, being entangled in it by continuously thinking about it will leave us even more adrift and deprive us of what we have now - a lovely family, some lovely friends, a beautiful sunshine, an awesome sunset, the moon and the stars, and all the beautiful moments that are yet to come. There's a lot in life. We can turn our eyes towards the good, or we can turn around and keep looking ...

I Want To Be Free...

“I want to be free” “Let me be free” “Set me free” “I want to break free” “Fighting to be free” - Feel it do you? Here… Hold my hand, I just crossed the bridge! Why are we seeing/hearing this so often these days, especially on the social media? What is this sudden, new freedom everyone keeps talking about? And why do they shout it out to the whole world - is it an SOS call? Who do they need to come and set them free, and from whom? I’m not here to critic or demean these feelings, no way! Someone needs freedom, I’d say - It’s a must have. Everyone is ‘free’ to feel and express their feelings and emotions. Just, what I wonder is - if any of these unfortunate/unhappy people give any/much thought to these phrases before shouting these out. In fact, at times, I just feel it’s the ‘in’ thing these days – Wanting to be free, fighting to be free, etc. It affects all; it’s life. If it’s not just the ‘in’ thing factor, and you really mean it, you really feel it, here’s th...
